Lil Kim Not Happy About Upcoming Biggie Movie
With the premiere of the biographical film about the Notorious B.I.G. just two weeks away, Lil' Kim has expressed her disapproval of the movie's portrayal of her relationship with B.I.G., and takes on the rapper's mother and wife who gave it the green light.
While Biggie's label boss Sean "Diddy" Combs and widow Faith Evans were both involved in the biopic, Lil' Kim--who had both a professional and personal relationship with the rapper--was not involved at all stages of the project.
During the casting of the film, it was rumored that Kim was unhappy that producers picked Naturi Naughton of 3LW fame to play her. It was also speculated that Kim felt her relationship with B.I.G. was sensationalized. She's now blaming Big's mother, Ms. Wallace, and wife, Faith Evans, for their involvement.
"I've had enough and I'm about to expose them both... I've been quiet for a long time," Lil Kim told Hip-Hop Weekly.
"I'm very disappointed in Faith," she said. "There's nothing Faith or Ms. Wallace could do to stop me from reppin' B.I.G. all day. I'm gonna always do that... It's time for Ms. Wallace to be exposed."

50 Cent Talks Fight With Floyd Mayweather
50 Cent was recently interviewed by ESPN.com about his latest video game, Blood On The Sand. The G-Unit head honcho spoke about whether or not there was any truth to rumors that he and professional boxer Floyd Mayweather got into a fight.
"Yeah, we got into a little scrap, a little boxing match," said 50. "Well, it wasn't really much of a boxing match because he hit me in the back of my ear. He's so fast, he's just so fast. The thing about it is, everyone who is around him works for him. And for a second, he tried to talk to me like I was one of the people working for him. He tried to tell me what to do so I grabbed him. I snatched his little ass up then he hit me and was like 'What's wrong with you?' We were mad for a second, but then everything went back to normal."
50 continued, explaining the source of the scuffle. "He was going to do the match in WWE at Wrestlemania and he started telling everyone that I was going to be there. So everyone got all excited and started asking me if I was going to come, and I was like, 'If you're really getting $20 million for this, then give me some money.' He was sitting there with a million dollars cash in a bag, and he kept telling me he was going to get me money for appearing, but I was like 'No, give me some of that money right there.' He had one million dollars in the bag, it was physically right in front of me, so why should I have to wait to get paid? Just give me that money right there. He wasn't with it, and that's how it all started."
The rapper claims that he and Mayweather were "cool right after it happened." 50's history with the boxer is well-documented, as he bet $1 million on Mayweather in his boxing match against Oscar De La Hoya, and has remained friends with him since, even accompanying him to an appearance at Wrestlemania.

First pics of Beyonce in thriller “Obsessed”
Beyonce just came out with her movie Cadillac Records last week to little fanfare but will try her best to make it up in the upcoming thriller Obsessed which also stars Idris Elba and Ali Larter. Movie is about a successful professional man (Elba) with a beautiful wife (Beyonce) who finds his idyllic life threatened by a temp (Larter) in his office who reveals herself as a stalker.
Hmmmm Larter or Beyonce…tough one. Here are the first pics from the movie courtesy of Screen Gems and Sony Pictures. Is it just me or is Beyonce looking more and more like her mom every day? (rhetorical question). Movie comes out on Feb 27, 2009.

Lil Wayne doc coming to Sundance Film Festival
Lil Wayne’s documentary The Carter has been finished for over half a year now but was never released via the original plan of straight-to-DVD. Now it looks like smart move as the first official Lil Wayne doc will actually make a screening appearance at the Sundance Film Festival of all places. Sundance runs from January 15- 25. You can be sure the hip-hop heads will be representing even more than last year when 50 Cent and Diddy both had a huge presence.

Soulja Boy signs Xbox 360 video game deal
Similar to The Game and Bow Wow, Soulja Boy is pretty boastful when it comes to his Xbox 360 skills. Infact, he claims to be the best player at Halo 3, Call of Duty 4, GTA 4 or Gears of War on the face of the planet. But this time, Soulja Boy’s video game ego has done some good. According to Complex, when Soulja Boy boasted his gaming skills, numerous video game blogs and sites picked up on it which led to gaming companies and publishers approaching him about working on a game. Soulja Boy states:
“Soulja Boy video game is coming for Xbox 360 in 2009. After I put the Xbox 360 challenge up on the Internet, it was over all these video game sites. And a couple video game companies hit me up on my email because I put the email on there too. And hit me up like, “Blah, blah, blah, blah.” So I was like, “Oh snaps!” So I forwarded to my management, and they forwarded to my label. And now we’re doing the video game.”
No word on what the game will be called or what the premise will be. Lets just hope it’s not a dancing game. Or a rapping game. Or has anything really to do with Souja Boy. I kid I kid. Kid gets mad props for doing his business thing at such a young age.

Pharrell invests in cutting edge fabric company Bionic Yarn
Pharrell officially added another business venture to his resume as he is now part owner and investor of the NY based textile company Bionic Yarn. The relatively new company uses a cutting edge technology to make fabric out of recycled plastic bottles which creates a greener and more eco friendly textile. In a recent press release Pharrell stated:
"We were just looking at this new canvas that is amazing. Basically, the denim is still denim, the cotton is still cotton. The process to make the Bionic Yarn makes it extremely durable and gives it a really luxurious feel. When my partners at BBC/Ice Cream felt the Bionic Yarn cotton, they couldn’t believe how smooth it feels."
Pharrell was so impressed with the material that he used Bionic Yarn in a couple of his current BBC clothing pieces namely the $375 Digi-Jack Zip Hoodie. Since Pharrell is now part owner he will be using more of Bionic Yarn is his own fashion designs as well as looking for opportunities to expand beyond the business.
