Did Trick Daddy Leak Rick Ross Pictures?

Rick Ross previously being employed as a corrections officer has been making waves on the net for the past week. While Ross has been adamant that a C.O. has never been his occupation, The Smoking Gun revealed otherwise. Lost in the mix has been how these revealing pictures surfaced in the first place.

There have been accusations that have linked Trick Daddy to being the one responsible for leaking these pictures to sources. Many may know that Ross and Trick haven’t always been on the best of terms so the rumors incited Ross to call Trick Daddy a "sucka."

Today, HipHopDX caught up with Trick to get his side of the story that he has remained mum on since the beginning. Trick adamently denied he had anything to do with the pictures reaching the internet.

“Where’s the blog or the video that shows me saying I leaked the pictures?” Trick asked. “Somebody tried to use me to try to start some mess. They wanted to use Trick and I won’t let it go down like that. Whoever did leak the picture, why don’t they just be a man and say it? Don’t try to lean on my shoulder and put shit off on me.”

“I don’t have no comment to say about the picture and no comment to say about the situation,” Trick said to DX. “I am not going through no type of problems with Rick Ross or nobody else in this Hip Hop game. Definitely not anybody from my hood. Anybody know, love or respect Trick knows that is out of character for me. I don’t do shit like that!”"

So does the fact that Rick Ross called Trick Daddy a “sucka” change anything?

“What does a person say when someone says somebody did something like that? It’s just a lot of bad judgment,” Trick concluded. “All of the instigators out there always want to compare (me to Rick Ross). The only way to get around all that is to truly show that we have love for one another.”

Rick Ross Response About Being Accused of Being A Corrections Officer & Trick Daddy Beef

If the photos are real: Did anyone really think that this guy really was a kingpin who suddenly out of nowhere decided to walk away from his Cocaine Cowboy lifestyle and become a rapper?

Is it wrong for rappers to play elaborate fantastical roles? (hmm, well that’s debatable) Ok, is it wrong for rappers to have had day-jobs that were just as boring or tedious as ours?

Clearly Rick Ross claimed his “role” more than others (Too Short and Luke are quick to say they’re not flesh peddlers in real life)…but there’s heavy demand for new rapper “realness” in this biz…maybe he’s like the musical equivalent of a method actor. Didn’t Daniel Day Lewis really think he was Bill the Butcher for a couple months back during
“Gangs of New York”? (I think that really creeped out Cameron Diaz.)

But meanwhile Rick Ross is not only maintaining that he was never a corrections office, he actually says the photo that is circulating is a photoshop fantasy. He sent this statement to Allhiphop and Onsmash:

“My life is 100 percent real. These online hackers putting a picture of my face when i was a teenager in high school on other peoples body. If this shit was real don’t you think they would have more specifics, like dates and everything else? I’m in the entertainment business and a lot of people like to hate because I’m on top of my game. Like I said before my life is 100 percent real.”

Trick Daddy Slides Over To Cash Money, Preps Group Album

It's been a turbulent year for Trick Daddy, one in which saw the Miami rapper depart from his long-time home, Slip-N-Slide Records. In this SOHH exclusive, the southern hip-hop staple opens up about leaving Slip-N-Slide, his new deal with Cash Money and why Trick still loves the kids.

Last fall after nearly a decade of being the flagship artist of Slip-N-Slide records, rumors began to circulate over Trick's discontent with the label. According to Slip-N-Slide CEO, Ted Lucas, the root of the rapper's displeasure stemmed from several disputes with how parent label, Atlantic Records, handled his last project, Back By Thug Demand. The album's lack of sales resulted in Trick's departure.

"Now, there's no one to blame," Trick told SOHH. "No one holding me back and nobody trying to come up off me. Trick is now a grown man. Trick has moved on in life. I sleep better, I think clearer and I'm still going to give you the hits."

Today, Trick is finally at peace. Recently, launching his own imprint Dunk Ryder Records, the Miami bad boy has aligned with Cash Money Record's Bryan"Baby" Williams and Ronald "Slim" Williams in a joint venture deal to release his group, The Dunk Ryders. Comprised of Iceberg Billion, Lil Fella and Soup - Trick's younger brother, who is currently incarcerated- the deal with Cash Money is one step in Trick controlling his own destiny.

"I'm signed to my own independent label now, [and] I plan to release my next album independently so I can own something," Trick explained. "I don't own none of the masters and I did seven albums. It's [was] like you already got rich off me, at least can I get my masters? Now, I'll be able to own all that and control my own destiny!"

With his future solidified, the "Mayor of Dade County" continues to give back to the community through his Trick Luvs Da Kids Foundation. Armed with the mantra - children do not have to be a product of their environment - the charity's mission is to inspire, aid and encourage underprivileged youth to achieve a better quality of life through educational, social and musical development.

"Trick Luvs Da Kids is my foundation where I see the kids, feed the kids, give them school supplies during that time of the year and give them Christmas presents," he asserted. "We have big toy drives with a lot of my rich friends. I wish I could get Oprah to come down here and help the organization this Christmas. It doesn't have to be thousand of toys, but something that can be felt. Something that will make somebody smile and cry in the same emotion."

As of press time no date has been scheduled for The Dunk Ryders' upcoming CD.
