Kanye West developing hip-hop Muppets comedy show

Cable network Comedy Central has just announced they are teaming with Kanye West and the creators of “Crank Yankers” for the development and production of a 30-minute pilot show called “Alligator Boots.” According to Kanye the show is a “hip-hop meets The Muppets,” and West and fellow rapper Rhymefest will produce music for the show and exec produce.

Once the pilot airs, it’s up to viewership ratings and executive reaction to see if “Alligator Boots” will be picked up for an entire season. It’s likely the show will be picked up though considering you have the branding power of Kanye and the creative genius of “Crank Yankers” together.
