Atlanta rapper Gucci Mane appeared in an Atlanta courtroom on Friday (September 12) for a probation violation hearing, and didn't get good news. He's been ordered back to jail. According to MYFox Atlanta, the rapper (real name: Radric Davis) failed to fulfill the required community service hours as part of his probation -- 600 hours, or 50 hours per month. Officials said Gucci Mane has only served a total of 25 hours in the past three years. Therefore, his probation was revoked for one year, and is ordered back to jail. The rapper is serving probation for the 2005 assault charge for attacking local promoter Troy Buffor with a pool cue. He was also arrested in July on a DUI charge during a routine traffic stop in Georgia. However, the probation violation involved the assault case, not the DUI. After Gucci Mane serves one year, he still has to serve another 2.5 years of probation and fulfill the 600 hours of community service. Words by Miles Bennett. Footage by Michael Melendy.

Louis Vuitton, Gucci stop T.I.'s Swing Ya Rag

Although many news outlets reported T.I.'s next single be "Swing Ya Rag," the clip never made it on major television networks. That left fans asking about the video. Recently, Tip spoke openly about the video controversy and more on what fans can still expect from Paper Trail.
It seems Louis Vuitton and Gucci were not happy to have their product featured in the video.
"We did it, and it came out hot," T.I. told MTV. "Louis [Vuitton] and Gucci started trippin' about it. They were saying we were infringing, in one way or another. They weren't happy about it. They didn't want it to come out. But it's hot, though."
He also added that more singles would be coming from Paper Trail. "Live Your Life," a Just Blaze-produced song which features Rihanna will be out soon, and "Swagger Like Us" can be a potential last single.
"I hope we can pull that off," T.I. adds. "That was the definite intentions initially. We have to see when everybody is all available. I'm available whenever they are."
Currently, he is planning a tour and working on his latest film, Bone Deep.

Breaking News: Rick Ross Admits To Once Being A CO

Rick Ross now admits he had in fact been a Florida correctional officer for 18 months. Photos originally surfaced of Ross (real name William Leonard Roberts) in July on the website TheSmokingGun.com. After seeing the pictures, Ross initially told AllHipHop.com the photos were doctored.
"Online hackers put my face when I was a teenager in high school on other peoples' body," said Ross. "If this shit was real don't you think they would have more specifics, like dates and everything? Fake pictures are created by the fake, meant to entertain the fake."
In subsequent interviews, Ross would go on to blame the uncovered photos on everything from digital manipulation to "haters." But in the latest issue of Don Diva magazine, the Florida emcee changes course regarding his pre-rap career.
"Yes, it's me," Ross tells Don Diva. "I never tried to hide my past. I put my name inside my CDs. My company has my [Social Security number]. I could've put a company name...I done been up and I done been down and that's what makes me what I am. I never ratted on a nigga. I never prosecuted a nigga. I never locked up a nigga, that's first and foremost. I always felt that me being the nigga that I am, I never owed a nigga an explanation. When I'm making my music and I'm talking about blow, it's because I did it. When I say that I'm rich off cocaine, it's because I did it. Those are the street principals that apply."

DJ Vlad Sues Rick Ross For 4 Million Dollars

According to the suit, Vlad received a text message from Ross on the afternoon of the Ozone Awards that read, “N—– will learn … trillaaaa.” Vlad had interviewed Ross twice before, which is allegedly how the MC obtained Vlad’s phone number. After the DJ inquired about who the text was from, Ross allegedly responded, “Ross … I’m hearing things.”
A short time later, according to the suit, Ross called Vlad and said, “I’ve been hearing things about me on your Web site. … We gonna make a story. … We going to see each other. … We going to talk. … Where are you?” Upon learning that both men were in town for the Ozone Awards, Ross allegedly set up a time for the meeting on the second floor of the Hilton Hotel in Houston and arrived accompanied by four other people.
“Following a brief conversation between DJ Vlad and Ross in which Ross said, ‘We got beef,’ Ross’ accomplices, who had surrounded DJ Vlad while he spoke with Ross, proceeded to strike and beat DJ Vlad in Ross’ presence and without any protest on Ross’ part,” the suit says. The men then reportedly fled the scene and left Vlad laying on the ground “bleeding profusely” after one attacker shouted, “Yeah, mother—-er, that’s what you get.”

50 Cent Reacts To Ex's Restraining Order, ''She's Trying To Use [My Son] To Hurt Me As Best She Can''

50 Cent spoke candidly about his contentious relationship with his son's mother recently, claiming that she is using his son as a means to hurt him financially.
In a video posted on his website, ThisIs50.com, the hip-hop mogul sat for an interview at a Toronto, Canada hotel between concert appearances to address his ongoing feud with his son's mother, Shaniqua Tompkins and the impact his son has had on his rap career.
"He's the reason I'm successful," Fif said of his son Marquise. "My son is my motivation. He's the reason why I changed directions."
"It's crazy, I go through so much with his moms," he continued. "We're not friends anymore. It's a huge adjustment when you have a person who has a sense of entitlement because she was around during that time period when I didn't have much. She feels like she should be entitled to the world."
The two have been at it, in and out of court, for years over custody of their son, child support payments, and Fif's million dollar mansion Tompkins and his son were living in before it mysteriously burned down last month.
Tompkins immediately and publicly pointed the finger at 50 as being behind the blaze. He responded with a defamation suit and she fired back with a restraining order against the rapper. But Fif seems to think it's about the money - since her child support payments were chopped from $25,000 to $6,700 a month - and sticking it to him, more than anything.
"She's really having a bigger adjustment to her personal lifestyle because she has a bag habit that costs more than the child support," Fif said. But that's pretty much all he'd in respect to his son.
"I don't really say how I feel about her because my son might see the tape, you know," he said. "But it's hard when it gets to the point when a woman is trying to keep your son away from you. That's the only thing she got left, so she's trying to use him to hurt me as best she can. It'll work itself out, it's just a pain in the ass."
The two will be returning to court July 15th to discuss the restraining order and again on the 17th for family court.

Young Jeezy Arrested for Driving Like a Maniac
According to TMZ, Jeezy got picked up last night in Atlanta for doing pretty much everything you’re not allowed to do in a car.
Cops arrested the Jeez around 2:30 AM on a whole mess o’ charges, including DUI, speeding, reckless driving, no tags, driving with an open container and no proof of insurance. Somebody get Geico on the phone!
Jeezy — whose real name is Jay Jenkins — was released this morning on bail. He’ll be back in court on July 17.
Some of those charges are pretty serious, but after R.Kelly and Clifford, really, what case can’t be beat. To be honest, when I saw that headline my initial thought was that the Feds pinched him on something cocaine related in the wake of those recent, and surely unfounded, allegations.
What would ever make anybody think that Mr. 17.5 could be involved with coke?
UPDATE: Jeezy says his plates fell off in the car wash Statement from Jeezy’s lawyer, Scott Leemon, after the jump.
“Last night, at approximately 2:30am, Young Jeezy was pulled over by the Atlanta Police Department shortly after leaving the studio to work on his new album, “The Recession.” After being charged with various automobile related offenses, Jeezy was quickly processed and released. A court date has been scheduled and Jeezy looks forward to getting the matter resolved.”

Hip Hop Police Has Another ATL Rapper With Some Legal Trouble On The Way

Testimony offered yesterday in the federal government’s cocaine-conspiracy case against alleged Black Mafia Family member Fleming “Ill” Daniels revealed a stunning allegation: According to a witness, Atlanta hip-hop superstar Jay “Young Jeezy” Jenkins received kilos of cocaine from BMF.
Jeezy has not been charged with a crime in relation to the allegation. When asked whether there is an open investigation into the rapper, Justice Department spokesman Patrick Crosby said he had no comment.
Scott Leemon, the New York-based lawyer who represented Jeezy on weapons charges out of Miami in 2006, told CL “obviously, I am not going to comment on anything. I will look into it.”
The allegation was raised in U.S. District Court in Atlanta this week by a BMF member named Ralph “Ralphie” Simms. Simms was indicted last year in a related federal drug case in L.A. He told the jury that in exchange for his truthful testimony in the case against Daniels, he hoped to receive a reduced sentence.
Simms testified that his job was to unload BMF’s cocaine from limos outfitted with secret compartments. He said he piled as many as 100 “bricks” of cocaine at a time inside the basement of one of BMF’s stash houses, an ultra-modern Buckhead mansion nicknamed “Space Mountain.” And he said that on one occasion, in the fall of 2004, he was ordered by high-ranking BMF members Chad “J-Bo” Brown and Martez “Tito” Byrth to set aside multi-kilo cocaine “shipments” for two customers. Simms said the customers picked up the coke from him at Space Mountain.
When asked by assistant U.S. Attorney Robert McBurney who the customers were, Simms gave two names: William “Doc” Marshall, a high-level BMF co-conspirator who testified earlier in the trial, and “Jeezy.” “Young Jeezy the rapper?” McBurney asked. “Yes,” Simms answered.
Jeezy’s name cropped up several times in the first two days of testimony, but only in relation to his well-publicized friendship with BMF’s Atlanta-based leader, Demetrius “Big Meech” Flenory. In November, Flenory pleaded guilty in Detroit to running a continuing criminal enterprise. He faces a minimum sentence of 20 years.
BMF is believed to have employed 500 people across the country in its $270 million cocaine ring — nearly 150 of whom have been indicted in seven states. According to testimony in Daniels’ trial this week, BMF only dealt in multiple kilos of cocaine, which were distributed to other cocaine dealers.
Daniels, who was described during testimony as BMF’s third-in-command under Flenory, was indicted along with 15 co-defendants last year in Atlanta. (Daniels also faces a murder charge in Fulton County Superior Court.) He is the only local defendant to go to trial on the federal charges. Nine of his co-defendants, including the rapper Barima “Bleu DaVinci” McKnight, pleaded guilty over the past two weeks. Another four are fugitives.
Jury deliberations in the case against Daniels began today.

R Kelly Acquitted Of All Charges!
A Cook County jury Friday acquitted R&B superstar R. Kelly of child pornography charges, marking the end of a high-profile trial rich in courtroom drama and celebrity intrigue.
Jurors put little stock in the prosecution's star witness, a woman who claimed she participated in sex acts with Kelly and the underage girl. But because the alleged victim and her family denied she was the woman in the video, jurors' sense of reasonable doubt held strong; likewise, the videotape of the sex acts was convincing, but not conclusive, jurors said.
The initial vote taken after the case went to the jury was 9-3 in favor of acquittal. Subsequent votes during "heated but civil" deliberations moved back and forth, but never very far.
See the edited sex tape of Kelly and the 13 year old girl here. Does this look like R. Kelly?
